Chandrakant Doley holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and has dedicated his life to the upliftment of underprivileged communities. With over five years of experience as a community leader and his ongoing role as the head of a high school since 2017, he brings both academic knowledge and practical leadership to the field of education and social service. His passion, commitment, and role-model leadership continue to inspire others and contribute deeply to the vision and mission of Ajon Trust.

Navakanta Kumbang

Navakanta Kumbang, who holds a Master’s degree in English, has dedicated his life to the social cause of uplifting underprivileged communities. Born in a small village in Lakhimpur, Assam, he overcame many hardships to complete his education and went on to serve as a teacher for over five years. Driven by a vision to make education accessible to all, he founded The Friendship Schools at Berbhanga and Naharbari in Dhemaji, where he served as Principal for 12 years.During his years in education, he witnessed firsthand how poverty often kept children from learning, strengthening his belief that education should be a right, not a privilege. Guided by this conviction, he established Ajon Trust, a non-profit organization committed to bridging educational gaps, promoting sustainable livelihoods, and empowering marginalized and tribal communities to build a better and self-reliant future. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the organization.

Pluto Pegu

Plutu Pegu holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (M.S.W) and has over seven years of professional experience in the field of microfinance. He brings his expertise and dedication to Ajon Trust, contributing significantly to its mission of empowering communities. With his background, he serves as a reliable resource person, guiding initiatives that promote sustainable livelihoods and social development.

Chebasthin Pathori

ChebasthinPathori brings with him 12 years of valuable experience in the field of education within rural communities. With a deep passion for teaching and serving society, he has devoted his life to empowering children through education. His unwavering commitment has been directed especially toward supporting underprivileged and deprived children, ensuring they receive the opportunities they deserve to grow and succeed.Driven by compassion and dedication, Chebasthin continues to inspire young learners and uplift rural communities through his tireless efforts in the field of education.

Mina Pegu

Mina Kumbang, wife of NavakantaKumbang, has over a decade of experience as a primary school teacher, which enriched her understanding of children’s education and community needs. Her dedication and strong vision for ensuring quality education for underserved children led her to become an integral part of Ajon Trust. She firmly believes that every child must have access to quality education, as only then can communities truly progress. Sincere and compassionate, she plays a vital role in advancing the Trust’s mission of empowering underprivileged communities.
